Portrait of Children on the beach in Florida

This photograph was taken at the beach in Florida. The light was evenly dispersed and not too bright, making the features of the faces clearly visible. The slight breeze added movement and interest to the scene; however, the grass obscured the view of the ocean. The customer chose to have the background removed and have the portrait artist completely redesign it. This request however, did increase the price of the portrait. In the final portrait, the artist painted in the rolling waves of the ocean and the delicate blades of grass. This accomplished the feelings and mood the customer was looking for. The little boy's white shirt was painted green to add contrast against a white sandy beach.
