Portrait of a little preschooler

The grandmother of this little preschooler recieved this photograph from the teacher on Grandparent's Day. The picture and the occasion were so special to her, a simple enlargement would not do. She wanted something in the form of fine art to immortalize the beauty and charm of her granddauhter. She gave the portrait artist creative discretion. He painted in a dark, rich background to contrast with the flowing blonde hair. The use of light created glowing highlights on the stands of hair that framed her angelic face. A teacher's thoughtful gesture became a treasured portrait painting the grandmother will someday pass down to her grandaughter.
